Lindsay, I think it says Mercy Johnson, not Audrey.

Looking at FamilySearch, they list the baptism of Richard Johnson 2 Jan 1774 St Thomas, Barbadoes, son of Richard and Mercy, and George Johnson 2 Dec 1775, same place, same parents. There is also Elizabeth Fox Johnson 21 May 1778, same place, same parents. Richard Johnson married Mercy Boyce 11 Apr 1773 at St Thomas, Barbados.

That's brilliant, thanks! My transcribing skills still leave a bit to be desired
Interesting that the name Fox crops up in the Johnson family - it makes it seem more likely that Elizabeth has family ties to the Johnsons and the Foxes (especially as Mercy is the first person mentioned in her Will) |

By Googling, I found a Rootsweb post from 1998 by someone else researching Elizabeth's will and wondering what the connection was with Mercy Johnson! I wonder whether he ever solved it. I don't suppose he still has the same email address...

Ooh, and he mentions an earlier Highland connection to Barbados.
I'll try emailing him. |

Well, the email bounced - hardly surprising!
However, googling has brought up an author by the name of Coldham writing about bonded immigrants in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries - I wonder if he had a personal interest? ...off to dig a little deeper and try to make some connections. |
