There is a burial for a John Cook at Holy Cross, Chiseldon, on 11 May 1788.
He is 66. There are several burials for Mary Cooks - but no ages given.

The only baptism in the right timeframe that I can find for John Cook is
31 Oct 1725 to Isaac and Mary Cook at Chiseldon
