Burial entry?
I'm helping someone with their Cornish ancestors and have found the following burial at Lamorran:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3....801,1582885418 It's for Mary the daughter of Thos. and Lydia Whitford and is right at the bottom of the left-hand page. Can anyone read the note starting "found in her..."? |

Could it be 'found with her throat cut ... Lane'?

Could the last bit be "Hereditary Lunacy"? (Or something else lunacy?)

Oooh, wow! Thanks, Sussex Maid and Kate.
The OPC transcriber just put that it was illegible, and I couldn't make it out either. *Wonders about the hereditary lunacy.* |

I thought it might be "Verdict Lunacy"

I do not know how true it is, but I am told that where there is a comment as to cause of death, it means there was an inquest. (Of course these things have never survived for any of my family members)

Thanks, everyone. Poor girl. She would have been about 27.
