Jenkin Evans' grandmother was Mary Mandery] Jenkin is a doubler in tinworks baptism - not yet found 1901 10 Brick Row, Maesteg Edward M. Evans aged 2 with parents and siblings 1911 50 Llwydarth Road, Cwmdu, Maesteg, Glamorgan Edward Mandry Evans 12 scholar, with parents and 10 siblings. Jenkin is working as a colliery blocklayer 1912 Edward's father Jenkin was killed by a runaway tram underground in a mine. Edward was working in the mine at the time. marriage 11 May 1921 Bridgend Register Office Edward Evans and Mabel Thomas Edward's address 54 Llwydarth Road, Maesteg. Occupation: coal hewer Ned and Mabel had 7 children. death 25 May 1984, aged 85 burial 30 May 1984 St. Cynwyd's Churchyard, Llangynwyd, Glamorgan [for many years Ned cut the grass in the churchyard and kept a key to the church. He was buried very close to the church wall on the south side]
