3 Aug 1823, St Mary Harrow on the Hill Middlesex, same day as his sister Martha Elizabeth Cole

1854 - moves to Gardiners Creek, Melbourne, purchased the orginal Gardiners homestead.
1866 - Wife Emma dies of childbirth complications

17 Sep 1868, Gardiners Creek, Melburne, COD - Hanging - George hanged himself while of unsound mind.He left 10 orphaned children, from Lewis 20 to Lily, just 3.

Details of will / administration of their estate - if applicable
Probate granted to son Lewis Guy Cole, 4 Apr 1870. A handwritten will, dated early September, stated his estate should be sold up when the youngest child, then 4 years old, reached her majority and then monies divided amongst his surviving children (one daughter died in 1869). The property was sold in 1883 to George's cousin William Bailey,who continued to run it as a nursery.
