Jane's parents together with her aunt Mary Vinall nee Dumbrell and Jane Dumbrell took Isaac Attree heir of John Attree to court as they claimed the late John Attree had not paid them the £20 each they were due from their father Richard Dumbrell of Wivelsfield's will.
