According to Ann (Nancy) Pickles death certificate she died of Pulmonary Consumption 25th Oct 1859
There was certainly some confusion in our family tree as Robert Pickles first wife was Ann Emmott. Born 1826. They were married 14th Oct 1841. Her father was a John and Mary Emmott from Great House Farm Cowling. She died 11 May 1845 after the birth of her third child Ann from "the rash" aged 19.
