I have had subs for Ancestry an for Find My Past this year. I tend to prefer Ancestry as I've used it longest (over 25 years!) and am more familiar with it, but I do find that FMP sometimes finds records I can't find on Ancestry. You don't say where you are Nick, but lots of public libraries allow you to access family history sites free if you'r a member of the library.

I'm sure other members have better info about the differences between the sites. I use Ancestry most and I still use familysearch quite a bit too.
