In 1891 there's an entry as follows:
Alexandria Alice McArthur single 16 domestic servant b Lisson Grove, London.
Living at 8 & 9 Norland Road, Hammersmith, which was a 'training home for girls' (ie training them to be domestic servants).
I know the details are not exactly right, but if this Alex is a different person then I can't find a birth or marriage reg for her! I don't think Lisson grove is right in Marylebone, but it is certainly very near (I expect Maggie_4_7 will know).
