Thankyou Elizabeth, I have not visited this part of my tree for a long time, but I've recently been working on the thrulines which have thrown up some matches. It also occurs to me that Stilwell is not so different phonetically to Steel which is another of my lines in the west Sussex/Hants/Surrey area. Thanks too for the link.
