Thanks Kite. I did have the 1871 census and the marriage but well spotted for Charle's marriage. Emma is at school in 1861. I think any records for this family are likely to be nonconfornist.
I wish I could find Charles in 1841. He might even be with his parents. Interesting that in the 1901 census Ann is on her own with Lucy and Julia relationship nieces.
