The main clue I have is her uncle Charles Baines who I assume was Thomas's brother is on the 1881 census as born 1822 Hallatrow Rutland a grocer and grazier of 10 acres employing 3 men and 1 boy. My greatgrandmother Emma married Thomas Horne who was a grocer and farmer.
