I've just phoned Wiltshire & Swindon History centre in Chippenham & they were very helpful
They confirmed:
The baptism of Mary Maton on 18 Jan 1789 parents Thomas & Mary
The burial of Mary Maton 16 Nov 1825 aged 75
Also gave me Thomas & Mary's marriage.
All opinions welcome, but I think this means I'm another generation back.
Can't do much more today, granddaughter is now awake so I must go & play
