Matthew Rayner baptised 29 March 1780, Reepham, Norfolk, son of Thomas Rayner & Mary nee Goldsmith

15 August 1802, Salle, Mathew Rainor rec'd into the churcch.

Married Elizabeth Dennis 31 October 1803 at Salle by banns, witnesses William Vout & Thomas Colls

Married (2) Susannah Gray, widow 23 November 1838 at Brinton, Norfolk where the vicar did not fill in all the boxes on the new fangled certificates (I'm fairly sure it's in the new register, as well as the old, where Matthew marks with a x and witnesses are John Rayner & Hannah Bell May)

Died 24 February 1868 at Swanton Novers, Norfolk, aged 86. Death registered 27 February by Susannah his widow.

Buried at Swanton Novers.

Occupation on censuses, farmer.

1841 Brinton aged 55. I assume occupation on FMP is Labourer, but image is very smudged.
1851 SN, farmer of 22 acres. Aged 69 born Sall
1861 Near the Bell, SN farmer of 34 acres, employing a man & a boy. Aged 79, both Reepham
