Their father Richard Randolph was a veterinary surgeon (given on his wife's death certificate). He died in 1840 at Peckham Rye.
Jane lived until 1853, so it must have been a wrench for her when the boys left.
She worked at the College for Civil Engineers, Putney, Surrey.
According to the information on the sheets Henry Adolphus Randolph was born on 24th July 1824 at Upper Winchendon.
Wow, I have just been deciphering what was written about Edward. It's all very squashed up.
"Much regretted" with "Jane R." directly underneath and then "Was killed on the spot 17 October 1861"
Jane his mother can't have written this as she was already dead, so it might have been his sister Jane, who didn't marry until 1863.
