You probably checked this already, Shona, but the families at 41 York Lane on the 1901 census are:Smyth, Patterson, Flanagan, Mc Larnen and Tomlinson. There is a McGee family at no 42 but no Hugh, and a Magee family at no 37 but no Hugh there either.
