mmm I just had a thought perhaps that's why she stuck in the name Bartlett then because by then she had lived with Richard Bartlett and had 6 more children although still not married in 1850. Caroline was born in 1826 and that baptism is 1850 not found one for nearer her birth. Perhaps Sophia thought that would make a difference to something or other sticking in Bartlett
