No. 295 Death certificate
The year One thousand eight hundred and forty-nine, 12th March, at 9 a.m.
The following persons appeared before me, Jean François Roland de Bussy, Knight of the Legion of Honour, employed by the Town Hall of the town of Algiers as Registrar responsible for civil registrations for the said town:
Canon Joseph Marie Montera, aged 44, resident in Algiers, and Mr Jacques-Louis Cailly,
Chief Customs Receiver, aged 49, resident at
7 Rue Boutin, Algiers
who declared that the said Agathe Ariel, aged 27, wife of Mr Francois Giacobbi, landowner, who resided together at 7 Rue Boutin, Algiers, born in Bristol (England), child of the deceased spouses Miles Ariel and Elisabeth Naylor, died this morning at 6 a.m. at
the said residence.
I drew up this certificate regarding the above matters which the appearing parties signed, as did I, after reading it.
