Default Another Missing Bradbury (Samuel this time)

In 1911, Samuel Bradbury of I Harrison Road, Leicester, stated that his 42 year marriage to Emma nee Friswell had produced 11 children, of whom one had died. By reference to the GRO Index, I have now identified the 11, but I can’t figure out who is the one who died before 1911.

I'm giving the details of all the children so you don't ask me later and all life events took place in Leicester unless otherwise specified:

Thomas, born 18 October 1868. He appears on the 1939 register and died in 1940.

Emma Elizabeth, born 16 April 1871 was my great grandmother. She married William Goadby in 1892, had three children and died on 26 August 1946.

Sarah Ann, born 7 February 1875. She married Harry Oliver Webster in 1894 and appears to have died in 1940.

John, born 12 April 1877. His army record says that he married Annie Doyle in Camberwell on 29 April 1899. As he served in WW1, he was clearly alive in 1911 and in fact it looks as if he did not die until 1951.

Ernest William, born SQ 1880. He married Edith Warner on 4 August 1903. His attestation papers survive from when he joined up in 1915, and probate records show that he did not die until 1 January 1939.

Lily, born 3 June 1882. She was one of the two girls who stayed at home, unmarried. She appears on the 1939 Register with her younger sister Lizzie and died on 16 May 1943.

Arthur, born 1 October 1883. He married Louisa Bramley in 1906 and died in 1962, possibly by his own hand. There is an Old Contemptible by the name of Arthur Bradbury, but sadly he is not mine.

William, born 20 November 1885. He married Annie May Mobbs in 1908. They appear together on the 1939 Register and he seems to have died in 1962, possibly in Kettering.

Lizzie, born 12 March 1888. Like her sister Lily, Lizzie stayed at home, unmarried. She died in 1962.

Fred, born 14 October 1891. He married Louisa Allen and appears on the 1939 Register at Kingswood, Bristol. He died in the family home on 5 January 1976.

The eleventh was Samuel, born 2 March 1873. He appears on the 1891 census as a private soldier in the Medical Staff Corps and I’ve lost him after that. Some Ancestry trees have him marrying Annie Doyle in Dublin South in 1895, but his younger brother John’s army record suggests it was he who married Annie Doyle, in Camberwell in 1899!

As I’ve got nothing after the 1891 census at the moment, it looks as if Samuel is the one to follow up, but currently I’m drawing a blank world wide!

Any thoughts? Thanks as always.
