I should have mentioned above –

As the only details of parents I have for Sarah are father George Childs, occupation gardener, from her 1844 marriage, I’d love to be able to link her with the George (c1781 – 1847) and Elizabeth Childs (c1786 - 1849) in Hornsey in 1841.

HO107; Piece 663, Folio: 30; Page: 21

George 60
Elizabeth 55
Elizabeth 20 (baptised 26 April 1818 St Michael, Highgate)
Elizabeth 5 (Elizabeth junior’s daughter according to 1851 census)
Ann 15 (baptised 30 Sept 1821 St Michael, Highgate)
Thomas 8 (Elizabeth junior’s nephew according to 1851 census)

I found baptisms for three other children for George (gardener) and Elizabeth Childs in Hornsey/Highgate:
Mary b 14 July 1807
Ann b 4 Sep 1814, buried 5 Feb 1815
John bap 15 Jan 1824, buried 25 Jan 1824

I found these two marriages with father George Childs gardener –

George Childs to Jemima Musgrove Deptford St Nicholas 1847
George was born Highgate c1812 (from census)

William Childs to Susannah Cottrall 1844 St Pancras Parish Chapel
William remarried to Eliza Twelftree 1853 St Pancras Church, father George dead
William was born c1813 Highgate (from census)

William, George and “my” Sarah’s birth years would fit into the list of definite George/Elizabeth children above.
