Kit. Some years the registers show the home address of the person with a business vote. That's how I know for certain that some of these people are my rellies....because I've got their home address already, either from the census or parish registers. I think you must be talking about later years though; mine are all in the 1890s and early 1900s so I'm lucky that I've got census records to check against. Try Googling the address as you may strike lucky and find something that tells you what it was. I've found my gt gt uncle's tailoring business like that - there's even a photo of the building in 1907!
