There is a Richard Trosleck baptised 1 Aug 1742 at Fisherton Anger, the son of Richard and Frances, and a John Trusler baptised 26 Dec 1744 also at Fisherton Anger, son of Richard and Frances.
So it does look as though they are variants of the same name.
