Another thing is recording when something is
not what you are looking for and why, and the date you did that research.
And a third thing is having a 'to do' list of things you would look for if you were able to. It's all very well Ancestry (or whoever) releasing a new dataset, but if you can't remember why you wanted to look at it.........
