Thomas Phillips - a man about whom very little is known
Thomas Phillips, ostler, is on the marriage cert of his daughter Rachel, who married Evan Jones at Aberdare in 1854.
Rachel on censuses gives her birth as between 1829-1832 and birthplace as Swansea or Morriston, Glamorgan.
I haven't been able to find a definite baptism for Rachel or conclusively find her before her marriage, so have no further clues about Thomas.
