I have seen "infant" used in PR's, death notices, etc to mean a child, not necessarily a baby. And of course infant classes / schools go up to age 7. In chancery cases it meant anyone too young to represent themselves. Also, isn't the stroke after Keene in that burial record the opening bracket to match the closing one after Infant?
