Hi Ann

There are 3 Christian Benzings buried at St Mary's Whitechapel, one buried 1824 aged 6mths, https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interacti...nSearchResults
one buried 1834 aged 30, https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interacti...nSearchResults
and one ("our") Christian buried 1837 aged 56. https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interacti...nSearchResults
All lived in Montague St, Whitechapel.

One of the Christian Benzing baptisms that show on Ancestry (I can't post a link to this) is Sep 1802 to a Johannes and Maria Benzing in Schwenningen. Possibly the older Christian's nephew? No proof of course, just speculation.....
