There is a burial at Llangynwyd for the 1880 death - 4 Aug 1880, abode Grove Street, Maesteg. The 1872 one is buried at Neath St Thomas but I can't find an image to get the abode. Any chance your Thomas was living at Grove Street, Maesteg in 1880?
