That'll be the delightfully named Gibbet Lane, I expect.

Gibbet Street still exists; it's one of the main roads in Halifax.

There is a Sarah Ann Milner living with her widowed aunt Mary Milner in Oldham in 1851, but Sarah's age is 5 years out.

Thanks Mary

Now I look at it I can see its Gibbets Lane - but I do have trouble reading handwriting.

The 1851 census is interesting but I can't prove the Sarah is mine as I don't have any family for her father John which is not uncommon in that area.
