Ann Abbott
 

I don't know anything about Ann other than from the baptisms of her children.

Ann or Nanny and John Abbott had ten children baptised at Beer, Devon between 1788 and 1808, so she would be born around the early 1760s. John seems to be living in Beer in 1841 aged 80.

I cannot remember, but I think Devon FHS have a complete marriage index from 1754 to 1837, so they ought to have the marriage somewhere.

DFHS offer searches of the Marriage Index - I've filled out the form for a quote but unfortunately it's a bit limited - I can only ask for marriage/Abbott/1754-1812 - think that might be a bit of a long list:)

I've just received a print out from DFHS and there's only one John Abbott marrying an Ann - in 1786 at Shute about 7 miles from Beer - so she would appear to be Ann Warren. Next step is getting Abbott burials and Warren baptisms to see if I have a match:)
