Ralph Allcock 1860-1943

Trying to find GRO birth/baptism records for Ralph Allcock b.28 Jul 1860 Cheadle, Staffordshire.
I have him on all censuses throughout his life which indicate his birth as 1860/1.
I obtained his d.o.b. from the 1939 Register.
I have births and baptisms for all of his siblings but cannot find anything for Ralph.
His parents did not marry until 04 Apr 1861 (9 months after his birth) so, obviously I've also searched under his mother's maiden name Finney.
I have been searching on FMP and the usual free sites.

Any help on this would be hugely appreciated.

Was the mother's maiden name Harvey, not Finney?

The marriage is on FMP with image too:

Still can't find a birth registration or baptism.

Yes, I was going to say the same about his mmn.

He married Ellen Finney in 1886.

FreeREG has transcribed the baptism of Ralph Harvey 25 Nov 1860 at St Peter, Alton, Staffs, son of Anne Harvey, unmarried woman, abode Cauldon Low.

Cauldon is familiar from another thread of yours, John. So I think this will be right.

Yes, my apologies, I mentioned his wife's name in error instead of his mother's name Harvey.
I had this census but cannot find a birth registration.

Yes, that looks like him kiterunner. I wonder if they didn't register the birth because he was illegitimate? Or got a family member to register him?

Not all births were registered at that date.
