Is he the one who is 50 (i.e. 50-54) on the 1841 census, Ann? With wife Rachel, also 50? But then he's age 67 on the burial, according to FreeREG.

Yes that's him Kite. There must be something wrong somewhere. Rachel is a widow with daughter Sophia in 1851. There may be older children I have not found. I could not find their marriage and there are a couple of possible baptisms. The trouble is 1841 does not give Parish. Sophia's marriage gives her father as Joseph Colborne Smith and farmer or farrier.
