I see his age is given as 83 on the death registration, which would fit with a date of birth in 1824, but surely he would have been born a few years earlier than that if he got married in 1838?

James Birch was my Great Great Grandfather on my Mothers side. George Charles Birch his first son was my Great Grandfather and oldest Brother of Ann.
I don`t suppose you have any Photos of James Birch do you ?
