Week 23 - Charles Jesse Woodthorp Vickers
 
Charles Vickers was born in 1899 in Manchester. His parents were Charles Jesse Woodthorp Vickers senr and Elizabeth Ann nee McCall. Charles junr was their eldest child.

In 1918 Charles joined the 23rd Battalion, The London Regiment (Private 44133).

He was killed on 2 Sept 1918 and was buried at Wulverghem-Lindenhoek Road Military Cemetery, Heuvelland, West-Vlaanderen in Belgium (Plot IV. B. 1.)
