"Close matches"
 

My headline close matches total 266, but under shared DNA they total 245. The missing 21 have shared DNA of 20 cM.

At the moment, I can still find more distant matches linked to those 21, but will that facility disappear?

I hadn't noticed that before, Phoenix. (D'oh - presumably because they have just changed it!) Mine says 262, but under "shared DNA" only 242. I assume it is to do with them rounding the number of cMs up or down? No idea what the answer is to your question, sorry.

I hope this isn't part process of a change. Most of my 20 cM matches are not very helpful, but some are brilliant.

At least you have something brilliant. I've not found anything of interest whatsoever via my DNA test or my OH's.

My 20 cm matches number more than the difference between the numbers. It's odd.

I think that's because they include those which have been rounded up to 20, Toni.

They seem to have corrected this now. Well, at least the discrepancy between the two numbers.

They are probably doing an upgrade. Briefly, my matches reverted to the old style search, so I know there are only 106 pages I haven't looked at!

Mine is fixed too.

What is odd though is I have 20cm matches that are "4-6 cousin" matches, same as the 21cm matches just above them. I'm not sure what the difference is, except for the 1 cm.
