Sarah Weston, formerly Pocock, possibly Chandler - Mayfield, Sussex

Name: Sarah Weston, formerly Pocock, possibly Read or Chandler
Date and place of birth:
Names of parents:
Date and place of baptism:
Marriage:
1. The Weald site says that this was Sarah’s 2nd marriage:
a. I have found a marriage of Sarah Read to Thomas Pocock (of Mayfield) 14/7/1726 at Wadhurst, Sussex. Now think this is Sarah's first marriage because he was of Mayfield. Would like to find Thomas Pocock's death to confirm it between 1726 and 1731.
b. Also a Sarah Chandler married 30/9/1728 Arundel Sussex to a John Pocock. A month later there is a burial of John Pocock 30/10/1728 at Trotton, Sussex. However this may not be the same John Pocock.
2. Sarah Pocock widow on 3/10/1731 St. Dunstan’s Mayfield, Sussex to Richard Weston
Occupation(s): Unknown
Addresses where they lived: Mayfield, Sussex
Date, place and cause of death: June 1780 Mayfield, Sussex
Date and place of burial: 4 June 1780 St. Dunstan's Mayfield Sussex (noted wife of Richard husbandman)
Details of will / administration of their estate:
Memorial inscription:

Children: John bpt 27/3/1733 St. Dunstan’s and Elizabeth 7/11/1734.
There is also a baptism of a Mary at Biddenden, Kent 30/5/1737 which may also belong to the same family.

Lots of confusion here with information and sources!! (see Richard Weston)

Thanks Liza, how nice for that burial to say that she was wife of Richard husbandman.. it makes the burial date for him of 1779, which also said he was husbandman, pretty conclusive.

Thanks Sussex maid - From your information, it appears more likely that the Pocock Sarah married was Thomas (with him being from Mayfield) .. just need to find him dying between Jul 1726 and Oct 1731 lol Julie
