Possible for her parents - a marriage on FamilySearch 4 Mar 1788 at East Kilbride, Lanarkshire, Scotland, between John McKenzie and Mary McClean.

I sometimes forget about the Scottish on FamilySearch.

Edit to say: I think you have just opened up another Scottish line for me thank you, that looks very much like it could be them and now we can assume with a fair amount of knowledge that Mary McKenzie was born in Scotland.

Do you think they've transribed Mary's name to Margaret i.e. Marg instead of Mary?
