Street that no longer exists
Hi All,
I'm researching into my family tree and currently on one side of the family I'm on my Great Great Grandad. I know he was born in St Pancras London. On the 1901 Census it says he lived at number 18 Melton Mews. From the searching I have done I can't seem to work out exactly this would be today. Could anyone please help with this? Thanks. |
Googling came up with a 1921 London Street Directory:
https://londonwiki.co.uk/streets/MeltonStreetSW1.shtml showing that Melton Mews was off the east side of Melton Street between number 33 (the Euston Arms) and number 34. Very close to Euston station. |
