hmmm it says I need a sub to the .com.au site rather than the uk one I have which says I have access to all Australian records. ;( :eek::confused:

In the URL, change .com.au to co.uk and it should work OK (it did for me).

I think these are the same entries that were already in the depositions on the NSW archives site, but Ancestry has the images.

Mary I'd tried that but it didn't work.

I messaged ancestry and asked and it is a known problem for some people from their end. There will be a fix soon-ish.

I've just checked, and the records on Ancestry don't seem to be identical to that index, though.

If anyone else had the same issues as me they have been fixed now.

As far as I can work out, my people so far have only been jurors.
