Anyone good with faces ?

Not sure if you can do anything with this, i think its a newspaper clipping from before 1928, which was when my grandfather James died. But would like to know if you can find him in the group photo please. All it says on the back is 'Band Sargeant James Tomlinson'

Just to say i found him after enlarging it on my computer, he`s the one on the end with the Tuba and the sargeants stripes, looks like someone drew a square around his head, so we would know. Off to let cousin know.

Well a lot of them could be him facially! However the chap holding the E-flat tuba sitting on the far-ish right has some stripes on his sleeve. Not that I can see all their sleeves, it has to be said!

Oh that's wierd. You reply to yourself wasn't there when I started typing, but it was posted hours ago!! Anyway, I promise I hadn't read it and we agree, so that's good!!

Merry 16-02-10 11:04

I can see the square now you mention it! lol

So are you going to tell us how you know it's an E-flat ? :)
Is it the size that matters ?
