The indexes for the above database on Ancestry are no longer linked to the images - if you click on a result it tells you that images are not available. But they are! The option to browse images is there to the right of the search boxes.

Can someone please have a look and make sure it's not my PC doing odd things before I point this out to Ancestry.

Thank you

No I noticed that a few days ago and it's a nuisance.

You're right, Sue, I also get the 'No image, text only collection' message

Sue from Southend 21-08-21 12:10

Thanks Maggie and Lindsay. I can't think of a sensible reason for this so I will complain gently to Ancestry if I can work out how!

maggie_4_7 21-08-21 12:46

I noticed on the report a problem drop down menu on that collection it won't let you select the one about missing images etc.

Sue from Southend 21-08-21 12:49

I've put a comment on their FB page - don't know if it'll make any difference!

Sue from Southend 22-08-21 16:27

A response from Ancestry's FB team , it remains to be seen whether it gets corrected!

"Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention, Sue! We sincerely apologise for any frustration or inconvenience caused, and will be sure to flag this with the relevant team for investigation right away. We sincerely appreciate you stopping by to share this with us, and are grateful for your patience and understanding as we work to get this resolved as quickly as possible. Wishing you a wonderful Sunday!"

I must admit to be impressed with the reasonably quick response...

Wow, I didn't know they had people working at the weekend!

Sue from Southend 14-09-21 07:19

It worked! The images are back..

Are you all as amazed as I am?:d

kiterunner 14-09-21 08:56

Wow! Glad to hear it's fixed.
