There was another daughter Margaret, born 30 Oct 1815 Madras and buried 15 Oct 1818 Madras. I can't remember where I got this burial from, but I would have thought that if my John was the one who died 24 Oct 1818 his burial would be listed with hers. Hmmm..

There is also a son James Henry born 15 Oct 1817 at Vepery, Madras.

Wife Mary died 10 Aug 1866 at Vepery.

Okay, Margaret's burial is on FamilySearch, but the only burial on there for a John Murray in Oct 1818 is a 5 year old boy.

I had deleted this thread because I thought it was the wrong family, but a DNA match has just confirmed it is the right one.
