Are you looking for help with finding any information about Thomas, Littleworth?

If anyone has any information on Thomas it would be greatly appreciated by his Australian descendants - but information on his son George Coleman Veale Sims and any descendants would be new information to the Australian family

George seems to have been born in 1872, not 1874, looking at the birth registration index.

1911 census:
1911 census on ancestry
Barcombe Mills, Sussex
George Coleman Veale Sims Head 38 Married under one year, no children Independent - no occupation, born Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Mary Sims Wife 42 Married under one year, no children No occupation born Shoreditch London
and two visitors whose names are hard to read.

National Probate Calendar for 1948:
SIMS George Coleman Veale of 126 Neville-road Hove Sussex died 13 February 1948 Probate Lewes 29 April to Ernest Henry Veale draper and Philip Sidney Carden solicitor.
Effects £6062 15s 9d.

Thankyou for that information - sad to know the family line in the UK seems to have died with Great-Uncle George.

Looks like they were fibbing about how long they'd been married - there's a marriage registration in 1918 in Mutford district on FreeBMD. Wife's maiden name is Brashier which is the surname of the young woman ( an actress) visiting them in 1911.

It seems like father -like son. I wonder if George neglected to divorce his first wife as he father Thomas did

I have a number of pictures of George Coleman Veale Sims. He was married to my great-grandmother, Mary Brashier. I can send them to you if you're interested.
