The marriage was at Petersfield, Hampshire, as I posted on your TO4G Betty Kelsey thread a few weeks ago. Both of Petersfield; witnesses James Brown and Betty Collingburn

Sorry Kate, I don't know why I put the date in and not the place :(

I presume there is no birth or death for William Cook then, in the early 1700's?

The transcribed Petersfield baptisms don't go back that far yet. I couldn't find a burial for him either but of course if he was buried somewhere else there are too many possibles.

Oh ok Kate - I did have Betty's birth tho in 1747.

Thanks again Kate.

Was Betty baptised in Petersfield, and do you know where you got her baptism date from?

I don't have that information Kate, I just dragged up a tree from someone who was doing a different line to me ending up with Cook & Kelsey, and she just had the year - place u/l - she also showed William as born in 1740 place u/k.

She also had the marriage without place also - so I'd copied it over some years ago.
