I see Hannah was called Annie on the marriage cert, so would you have looked for her under that name in 1871? (and Wm was a plumber)
|
Not sure if I have to be honest. I always assumed the vicar misheard Hannah but I suppose she could have been called Annie as a pet name.
Off for a wee look now |
Nope. Not a sign of them.
Theoretically they should be easy to find as Hannah was born in Tivetshall St Mary in Norfolk before she moved into London but I'm not even having any luck just searching for females born Norfolk 1848 +/-2 living in Middlesex married to a William. They had their first child Charlotte in November 1869 and there could also be a son Robert Walker Webb who was born 1871 (don't know date as not found his birth ref yet) |
Baptisms of Charlotte and later child Richard have her as Anna. Unfortunately they waited until 1875 to have them done so not sure the address on there is any help.
|
Are his parents still alive in 1861?
|
This is always a possible in 1861. Terrible image and the age is a bit out.

On a train on the way to Luton so don't have everythng on me. Robert Walker Webb died in 1870. Not sure about Martha off the top of my head.
I don't have either of them in 1861. |
Marg,
phone won't let me view that image. Will check it out when I get home. |
