I am wondering how I can work out whether this is the Margaret Ann McLaren who was born on 5th July 189 in Berwick on Tweed.

Daughter of John McLaren a soldier and Barbara Hope.

The last mention of her is as an escapee from a Berwick Workhouse placement in 1862.

No it isn't her then as her father died in 1859 and her mother remarried in Edinburgh where she died.

The mystery continues lol.
