Death
Dennis James McCarthy aged 77, died 19 March 1907, Union Infirmary, West Ham, of morbus cordis, syncope.

In 1911, James' widow Elizabeth McCarthy is with their married daughter Mary Ann Layton and her husband and family, and Mary Ann registered James' death so it is likely that both parents were living with the Laytons prior to James' death in the infirmary.
