My grandmother Gertrude Louise Marsh (nee Harding) 1886-1951 with Leslie Charles 1906-1976, Lilian Helen 1908-1965, Lawrence Frank George 1911-1983, Jeannie Alice 1916-2003.

Photo taken in 1918, my father Alfred Benjamin was born the following year.

From Mabel & Ernest Straughan to Mabel's sister Annie Crisp nee Bennett. Mabel died in 1918 and Annie helped bring up Mabel's son.

"43 Romola Road 11.4.15 Now Easter is over I meant to acknowledge your very kind card before, I'm sorry, but must have overlooked it in my hurry. We went to Ramsgate and enjoyed it very well tho' the weather was poor. We hope to come your way someday & have kept your explanatory letters. WJ Crisp was Wiliam James Crisp, my great grandfather.
