I haven't managed to find any DNA matches to confirm Walter Horner Brown's line yet. Of course it is useless searching my DNA matches for the surname Brown! But I'm just wondering whether there is anything fishy about the fact that his parents had two daughters within three years after their marriage, and then there was an 11 year gap before Walter came along? I know they didn't actually split up as they are still together on the 1841 census. Also Walter is "my son" in Joseph's will, but just wondering whether maybe he wasn't his biological son.

Update - it seems that Walter was not my great-grandmother's biological father, hence the lack of DNA matches.
