William Screaton aka North (MMF)

Name - "official" name and what they were known as
Born William Screaton. Known as William North definitely from 1861, and probably from 1858.

Date and place of birth
Born 11th June 1854 in Rothley, Leicestershire.

Names of parents
Mary Screaton née Parkinson and (possibly) William Wood North.
William was born two years after Mary's first husband died, and four years before she married William Wood North in 1858. No father is named on his birth certificate, but William Wood North is named as his father on his marriage certificate. William Wood North acknowledged William junior as his natural son in his will, but as Mary and William senior were both free to marry when William junior was born, it seems unlikely.
