What info do they have in 1918? Is it the same as English certs by that date?

I think I've just found an unknown cousin of Dad's.

They have 'when and where the parents were married', along with all the usual stuff.

Half my tree is Scottish. They tell as many lies as the English when it comes to certificates and can glibly reel off a fictional date and place of marriage.

Scottish Certificates are brilliant pity they didn't start until 1855.

However, this seems to have come as normal to those of my family who have wit enough (3 errors on sib's marriage cert, one on parents', two on grandparents')
